Eddie Hall is coming off an impressive win against the Neffati brothers, but he is already looking forward to his next match. Although nothing is arranged yet, Eddie used his post-fight interview to call for another interesting matchup. Specifically, he is interested in an MMA match against the 5x World’s Strongest Man, Mariusz Pudzianowski.
Firstly, Eddie Hall was asked what his goals for the future are. He then revealed that he accepted the 2 vs 1 fight on a five week notice and that he still hopes to have a regular 1 vs 1 match against someone of his stature. So, the next question that he received was if that someone could be Hafthor Bjornsso.
“I’ve been training MMA very hard for big opponents… My heart still lies with a 1 vs 1… He (Hafthor Bjornsson) wouldn’t come to MMA, he is too much of a p***y.”
So, if not Bjornsson, who could his next opponent be. Well, Eddie Hall called for a fight against one of the most successful Strongmen in history, Mariusz Pudzianowski. Moreover, the Polish athlete has also been doing MMA for a significant amount of time now, making him a perfect opponent.
I think someone like Mariusz Pudzianowski. He has 20 years of experience in the game, he is still a big guy and still very strong. There is no denying it, Mariusz is very hard. But, I think the fans want to see the World’s Strongest Man vs World’s Strongest Man.”
Eddie Hall revealed some more facts which indicate that the match against Mariusz Pudzianowski could come to fruition. Most notably, the Polish athlete has been sending Hall messages, expressing his desire to fight as well.

On the other hand, Mariusz Pudzianowski is a bit smaller in comparison, coming in at 6-ft 1-in and weighing around 116 kilograms (255.7 pounds).

Both men had incredible Strongman careers, but it is important to note that they competed in separate eras of the sport. So, it is hard to compare their accolades. Overall, Pudzianowski took part in 69 International and National competitions and won 50 of them.
