Although his infamous boxing match did not go as planned, Eddie Hall has now shown that MMA suits him much better. However, even his recent outing was far from a standard MMA match as he had to take on two fighters at once. Eddie did so as a part of the World Freak Fight League, which took place on June 7th in Blackburn, England. In a fight that displayed immense entertainment, Eddie Hall managed to throw around and KO the Neffati brothers.

At the start of the match, both sides took their time getting comfortable in the octagon. However, that soon changed as the brothers knew that they had to exhaust Eddie Hall in order to have a chance. Still, the 2017 World’s Strongest Man swatted them away like flies.

The action erupted in the third round of the fight, where the brothers tried to attack Eddie Hall from both sides at the same time. Unfortunately for them, Eddie still managed to maul them with different types of shots. Ultimately, Hall picked up one of the brothers and slammed him to the ground. Once he got up, Eddie landed a colossal right hook, which knocked him out. In turn, the match was interrupted, and Hall was pronounced the winner.

This match came into fruition because the Neffati brothers started provoking Eddie Hall in some of their clips. Of course, seeing how they are a sensation on Instagram and TikTok with millions of followers, it grabbed Hall’s attention. He warned the brothers, but they continued taking jabs at him. So, Hall agreed to fight them both at the same time.

While the Neffati brothers had strength in numbers, Eddie Hall had a size advantage. He weighed in at 166.6 kilograms (367 pounds), which fits well on his 6-ft 3-in frame. On the other hand, the brothers weighed approximately 65 kilograms (143.3 pounds). So, both sides had completely different approaches to the fight, accustomed to their strengths and weaknesses.

This is the second time that Eddie Hall officially steps into the ring, as his first fight was against Hafthor Bjornsson. He wasn’t as successful at the time, having lost on the decision of the judges. However, he has since trained rigorously and faced some incredible athletes in sparring. It definitely worked, as Hall seemed to have great endurance and power during his fight against the Neffati brothers.

Eddie Hall was also supposed to fight Mitchell Hooper, Brian Shaw, and Martyn Ford earlier this year. However, it all fell through at the last moment. Fortunately, Hall was decisive in pursuing his career in MMA, which gave us one of the most interesting matches of the year so far.

Eddie Hall’s strength and power come from an impressive career in Strongman, which spanned over six years. During that time, Hall took part in 23 International and 8 National competitions. He also won nine of them, while placing in the top three on the majority of other occasions. His greatest victory is undoubtedly the 2017 WSM. However, shortly after winning, Hall decided to retire, as that was his ultimate goal in the sport.

Eddie Hall’s match against the Neffati brothers was definitely something unique, which always attracts a lot of attention. While some people were expecting the match to be boring, it turned out to be anything but that. Interestingly, Eddie has already asked his Instagram followers, “Who do you want to see me fight next?”
