Jerry Pritchett has been competing in strongman competitions for over a decade. This experience was put on display recently, as he got a crazy deadlift set in the gym.

Pritchett is one of the most established strongman athletes in the world. Although he does not have some of the accolades that perhaps others in the field have, he has been competing for thirteen years. As a result, he had developed into an unbelievably strong athlete, mastering some insane feats of strength.

In fact, Pritchett gave his fans a glimpse of that strength recently. In a recent post to his b Instagram, he can be seen crushing a ridiculous 907lb deadlift. Moreover, he did this lift, which most people could not even do one time, for two reps, just blowing us away.

Check it out:

“Great deadlift session tonight! Thank’s to the crew for all of their help!! Here’s a drop set at 907lbs X 2 reps..”

Now, it would be silly to say that Pritchett made this look easy. After all, there is no real way to make lifting over 900lb seem like an easy task. Nevertheless, he hit it cleanly, smashing through both reps in a smooth and strategic manner.

Pritchett may be an excellent strongman competitor, but his interests were not always in this field. He actually started off as a Sprint Car racer, before discovering that his true passion was in the weight room. Since then, he has consistently increased his threshold for weight, becoming known as “America’s Best Deadlifter.” Looking at his lifts like this, it is easy to see why he would have gotten this moniker.

Jerry Pritchett is without a doubt one of the strongest people on the planet, especially when it comes to his deadlifts. He will be looking to compete at the 2020 Arnold Strongman Classic next month, and looks good in preparation.
