Karlos Nasar is easily one of weightlifting’s greatest superstars, despite his young age of 20-years-old. If his achievements so far were not clear enough, Karlos has proved his greatness once again at the 2024 Bulgarian National Weightlifting Championship. Competing in the 89-kilogram weight class, Karlos managed to Unofficially break the Snatch, Clean & Jerk, and Total World Records.

Despite just recently turning 20-years-old, Karlos Nasar has achieved nearly everything there is in the sport of weightlifting. However, he has not yet gotten an opportunity to appear in the most prestigious competition — the Olympic Games.
Well, thanks to his tremendous performances in the past few years, Karlos Nasar is now looking forward to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. They will take place on July 26 – August 27, while the actual Weightlifting program is scheduled for August 7-11. Now, following his three unofficial records, Karlos is looking like the main favorite for the gold medal.
Apart from his dominance in youth competitions, Karlos Nasar has also won multiple Open Age class shows as a teenager. Most notably, at just 17-years-old Karlos won the World Championships and became the third youngest athlete to do so in history. From then on, he continued setting World Records and building a legacy.
There is no doubt that Karlos Nasar will be hoping to get a gold medal at the upcoming Olympics, as the opportunity is available once every four years. However, achieving this goal at just 20 years old would be astounding and could cement Karlos as one of the greatest weightlifters in history.
