Over the last several months, powerlifting phenom Larry Wheels has been working to build his arm wrestling skills. Now he puts those skills to the test with a match with famed arm wrestler Schoolboy.

Wheels is a man who likes putting his strength to the test in any way he possibly can. One such way has been with learning the skills and techniques involved in arm wrestling, even taking on some of the sport’s best athletes. However he decided to amp things up by taking on Russian arm wrestling champ Schoolboy.

Schoolboy is an arm wrestler who first gained traction for taking on people in the streets of New York. He has even obliterated the likes of Jujimufu, among others. So when Wheels decided to take on this man, it was definitely a huge step up in competition compared to any other people that Larry may try taking on.

Nevertheless, after a long buildup, Larry Wheels vs Schoolboy has finally arrived. In the video uploaded to YouTube, Larry explains the sleepless nights that have led to this moment, as he has been training and building up with excitement. Then, after a brief explanation of the rules they got straight into their match, wrestling with their left arms.

The first round match saw Larry get absolutely smoked, as he seemed unprepared for the quick start from the ref. Unfortunately things did not change from there, as Schoolboy would wipe the floor with Wheels, sweeping him 5-0. That being said, Larry seemed to take it in stride.

“We just wrapped up that…I wouldn’t call it a super match, more like a domination,” Wheels laughed. “The result was what everyone anticipated, Schoolboy dominated and it’s a result of his hard training for many years. Very experienced on the table, and definitely someone who was born for this sport.”

After this, Schoolboy took on Khalid with his right hand, who managed to actually beat Schoolboy after several draws. After this Larry Wheels decided to try again with his right arm, something he did not originally plan to do considering he injured his bicep a couple weeks back. This time Larry was able to get a couple of wins, taking two matches before Schoolboy decided he had enough. Despite getting two wins, Larry proclaimed Schoolboy the winner, admitting that he only got those wins after Khalid wore down Schoolboy’s arm.

“So Schoolboy took the win today regardless,” Wheels explained. He took all five rounds and dominated the left hand and that’s what we agreed on. Then he went against Khalid with his right, and as you know Khalid is world class as well…and no doubt that drained Schoolboy. My arm is fresh and Schoolboy, after going against Khalid it’s not really fair to say I got these two because he’s definetly exhausted. But I’d love a rematch with the right arm when we’re both fresh.”

This was an exciting match between Larry Wheels and Schoolboy. Hopefully one day they will be able to face off again, with both men using their dominant arms. Either way it still took a lot of guts to step up and take on one of the best arm wrestlers in the world.
