The Russians live life the hardcore way. They wrestle bears, run in blizzards, drink vodka to keep warm and slap each other unconscious.
Logan Paul is a famous YouTuber who became even more famous last summer when he boxed fellow celebrity KSI to a draw. In ten days time, Logan Paul is taking his combat sports career a step further. He will be slapping the everloving life out of people in Russia.

I must admit I am very new to this slapping championship thing. I knew something like that existed and that it’s the most hardcore shit I’ve ever laid my eyes on. What I didn’t know, is that Logan Paul will be traveling behind enemy lines to compete in a competitive slap-athon. From what I’m seeing, Logan’s got the explosiveness on his side and according to this video he can take a slap to the face. However, some of those guys in Russia pack a serious slap and outweigh him by a ridiculous margin. They don’t have a term for “weight class” in Russian slap fighting….but they do have one for “pain”.

Meanwhile in Russia…the 'male slapping championships' took place in Krasnoyarsk. The winner, Vasiliy Kamotskiy (left) took home 30,000 rubles (£350) 👏🇷🇺pic.twitter.com/aXQkMkmbd6

Also, don’t think Logan will be getting any kind of serious cash from this. As you can read from the tweet and video above the event’s payout can’t even cover Logan’s plane home, because the prize is about 460 $. What I’m trying to understand here is the “why” part. Why would Logan Paul, a huge e-celebrity, be entering this kind of event? Money, obviously, isn’t the reason as there is none in this sport and It can’t be youtube clicks. Is the yotube e-cred, really worth getting knocked out in Russia by a guy no one has heard about? Well, whatever the reason is…It is escaping me. I wish Logan Paul the best of luck as he is going to be needing it….a lot.
