The uncertainty surrounding Nick Walker’s bodybuilding career is heating up. On January 1, 2025, judge Terrick El Guindy and Chris Cormier discussed his chances of earning an Olympia qualification. They also issued a bold warning to his skeptics, promising they’d be forced to eat their words after his next contest.
Unforeseen mishaps have plagued Nick Walker for the past two years. In 2023, he was forced to bow out of the Mr. Olympia due to a hamstring injury. Despite fan anticipation peaking for his return to the major event, he couldn’t make it after he and his ex-coach informed the public that his body wasn’t responding to the vigors of prep.
Not only has ‘The Mutant’ teamed up with a new coach but he’s never been more focused as he aims for redemption. He announced plans to compete at the 2025 Pittsburgh Pro but if he hopes to earn his Olympia qualification, he’ll have to once again get through thriving Open contender Martin Fitzwater.
Terrick El Guindy Talks ‘Unstoppable Force’ Nick Walker’s Future in 2025: ‘He’s Going to Take A Lot of People Down’
In the YouTube video, Terrick El Guindy warned that doubters of Nick Walker are about to be filled with regret.

“A lot of people are doubting Nick Walker and if you are one of them you’re about to regret. You are about to apologize. Nick Walker has won the Arnold Classic, he has won the New York Pro twice, just last year,” said El Guindy. “He placed third at the Mr. Olympia, okay? And in the last couple of years, he didn’t show up at the Olympia. First, he had a horrible injury and then this year he couldn’t be there.”
He labeled him an ‘unstoppable force’ with ‘unmatched discipline’ and for those reasons, sees him making a huge impact in the Men’s Open this year.
“I’m telling you right now, that if you’re doubting Nick Walker, you’re going to regret it. I call him the unstoppable force.
This man has unmatched discipline. He can carry the mass, he can bring the conditioning. I think Nick Walker is going to come back and storm the stage and shut up a lot of these people who are doubting him.”
Like El Guindy, Cormier sees Walker climbing his way to the top of the sport once again.
“He does have to prove himself. I get it. I get it but he’s done this before. When you are top three in the world, top four, whatever you are in the world, you are official.”
“The guy has a heart of a lion and he will be back to where he belongs and that’s at the top of the sport,” said Chris Cormier.
El Guindy seems confident that Walker will qualify for 2025 Mr. Olympia with a Pro show victory, emphasizing that his doubters will ‘eat their words.’
“I think he’s going to come back, win a show, and place in the top five of the Mr. Olympia and I think everybody that’s doubting him and questioning him and some people made fun of him for not competing, they are going to regret and they are going to eat their words.”
In addition, El Guindy believes Walker’s future looks promising given his mass, arms, and side shots.
“This guy is massive. He’s got huge arms, he’s got a huge body. His side shots are incredible. He could beat anybody on his side shots.
He has not lost his muscle mass. He knows how to get conditioned. He knows his weaknesses and his strengths and I believe he’s quietly recovering mentally and physically and he’s going to take a lot of people down.”
Although Walker hasn’t competed since winning the 2024 New York Pro, that hasn’t stopped him from stirring drama with the newly crowned Mr. Olympia Samson Dauda. He thought Dauda didn’t shut the door completely with his triumph, which prompted ‘The Nigerian Lion’ to brush off his statements on Instagram.
With a new coach and extra motivation to perform, time will tell how Walker fares at the 2025 Pittsburgh Pro. El Guindy and Cormier believe he’ll find a way to qualify for the next Mr. Olympia one way or another.
