Throwback: A few years ago Arnold Schwarzenegger took some harsh criticism against the mass monsters of today, in recent years the focus has shifted from building an extremely aesthetic physique to building more and more muscle.

The former 7 x Mr. Olympia champion has compared the physiques of today’s Mr Olympia competitors to a “bottle”, and says the judges need to start favouring more aesthetic and narrow waisted bodybuilders.

Schwarzenegger: Bodybuilders Today Are Not Accepted

If you’re a lover of the Golden Era of bodybuilding in the 1970’s then you admire the frames that men like Sergio Oliva, Franco Columbu, Frank Zane, and Arnold Schwarzenegger built.
