Throwback: IFBB pro bodybuilder Johnnie Jackson is known as one of the strongest bodybuilders currently active in the industry.

In the above video, Jackson pulls his left hamstring early on in his third deadlift attempt at 821 lbs at the 2008 USPF National Powerlifting Championships in Rhode Island. Powerlifting legend Ed Coan was on hand to coach and encourage Johnnie and can be seen in the video clip.
