Floyd Mayweather Sr. has joined the trash-talking war between his son, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Conor McGregor.
On Tuesday, following the first press conference of the Mayweather vs. McGregor world tour, the UFC lightweight champion addressed the media in a solo format. McGregor didn’t only take shots at his opponent, but also at his opponent’s father, Mayweather Sr.
“The old man came — and I don’t know who’s who, I got confused — but the old man came and he was saying some stuff,” McGregor said regarding his stare down with Mayweather Jr. “So whatever, I don’t know.”
Immediately after the comments, Mayweather Sr. interrupted the action.

“Like what, son?” Mayweather Sr. shouted. “I will beat your ass, I will beat your ass.”
And that’s when McGregor instantly replied with a witty comeback comment, which sparked a whole argument between the two.
“You’ll get your chance on Aug. 26, Junior.”
