The death of young and talented bodybuilder Dallas McCarver has sent shock waves throughout the bodybuilding and fitness world. Many sport and big news websites from all over the world have been reporting the death of 26-year-old Dallas McCarver.

Dallas McCarver Foundation has been opened to help underprivileged kids. According to Aaron Singerman from ReCon1, Dallas had always dreamed of one day opening a foundation like this.
The Dallas McCarver Foundation’s ethos is “No Child Should Go Without!”

Thank you in this time for being so understanding i haven’t been on socials but I do hope that everyone at this time can respect myself, family and many friends who are in mourning of a person who was a MASSIVE part of there life.

Not one day would go by without a txt, or a call or us training. Traveling around the world I took him under my wing, we ate, drank and experienced different cultures, I have memories I am blessed to have that will always make me laugh and no can take away.
The things taken for granted, are now in reality of his passing so meaningful.

My Socials are full of Dallas and how he has touched so many lives, we talked so much about living a legacy by acting like a Champion long before a title is achieved, that I think he be shocked himself just how MANY people he did touch and inspire!

I can’t still get my head around everything. I drove to the gym yesterday and just sat there and cried, his straps- wraps and belt placed ready for our workout the next day.

Today I managed to get in a workout fueled by what he would want me to still keep doing- that’s train to win!
I’m not lie and say I have many moments today specially when I see photos with him and Adiena. I just know he’s sitting up there with plans of scaring any Boyfriends off when shes older! ?

Although he achieved so much on stage and off, his dream was one day to be Mr Olympia. I will train with him in my heart daily find the motivation to carry on for us both, I’m training to win now I have Dallas with me pushing me harder than he could be physically.

It comes with great sadness to realize that this young man is gone. I couldn’t even gather myself this morning as I was and am still in complete shock. Dallas was an amazing young man that brought so much light into a sport that has at times such darkness. Look at his smile, I mean look at most of his pics and you could see his smile illustrating his love for bodybuilding! I remember chatting with him on various occasions but mostly about how he was the future and how I would be there to help him in any and every way.
I’m saddened that we could not see his true potential be fulfilled but I do know that God makes no mistakes and Dallas is with Him right now! Dallas McCarver you inspired many and will continue to as your legacy although short lived was full of excitement and happiness! Man I miss you Youngin as this one hurts deep. I must ask all of us to celebrate his life and also give our most sincere and deepest condolences to his family, great friends and fans!

I was very stunned to hear about the death of Dallas still cannot believe that he died so unexpectedly. He was the most energetic soul I ever see full of life so kind down to the earth to his family and friends Please accept my sincere condolences.And as they say, the one who is adored the most by the God, is the one who achieves eternal life. Sometimes we take for granted the time we have here on this earth and the people who impact our lives. It saddens me to hear that Dallas McCarver has passed away. All I can think about is how young he was… why.. why.. why.. I had to pleasure of competing against Dallas aka Big Country a few times, the most recent was 2016 Arnold Classic in Spain. After the show we were in a restaurant eating around 11pm and he wanted to know how so many of us do so many shows after the Olympia. As we we were munching on pizza, burgers and Diet Coke he just kept saying “I love this shit Shawn!! I’m having the freaking time of my life!!” We laughed about the fact that he had just left all the cash he made from meet the Olympian back in his room in Vegas. I believe this was his first experience competing outside of the USA.
You will be missed my brother R.I.P. My prayers goes out to your family and love ones.

As I’m out of the country right now I’m just now waking up to all my messages about Dallas and I think like everyone else your first reaction is disbelief, but I would have never imagined it was actually true. I can’t say anything about D that no one else hasn’t already said. Just going to say, not a lot of men do this sport and off stage are even better human beings. But Big country was one of those. I’m thankful that I was able to have had a relationship with him before he was taken from us.
