A retired father-of-three Jim Arrington makes it into the Guinness World Records as the world’s oldest bodybuilder in the world.

Jim nicknamed ‘Skinny Bones’ set the record when competing at a professional bodybuilding competition in Venice, California.

Jim aged 83 years & 6 days, tell others: “Remember, records exist to be BROKEN!”

To achieve his body goals, Jim sticks to a high protein, moderate carbohydrate and fat regimen.

“Just about anything works for a while, then your body adapts and requires new challenges,”

“Bodybuilding is hard work! You need to set goals, but most of all, you need to love the training. No bodybuilder is satisfied with how they look. If you want to compete, compete! If you don’t, you never will.”

Arrington said all his life he “wanted to excel to something and be world class”.

“In bodybuilding, my true love, becoming the best over 80 and earning my Pro Card, was that goal reached,” he says.

“Gaining a Guinness World Records title must therefore, be 100 times better! My friends and family are all delighted. Everyone wants to be photographed with the certificate!”
