Biography

Early life and family background

Paige Hathaway was born and raised in a small town north of Minnesota, USA. Paige’s childhood was mostly tumultuous. Her family lived in absolute poverty, serving off food stamps. Family wrangles were the order of the day.

Paige’s parents divorced while she was four years. Paige Hathaway was in custody battle at a very young age. Her mother was desperate to keep her away from the father, who was alcoholic. In spite of legal restrictions, she ran away with Paige to live with a man that she had met over the internet.

Police, however, tracked her and Paige had to live with the maternal grandmother. Paige Hathaway spent the rest of her childhood shifting between foster homes, paternal grandmother’s home, and maternal grandmother’s trailer.

Fitness Journey

Paige Hathaway has not always had the lean and fit body that she displays in bikini competitions. Through her story and success, Paige Hathaway hopes to inspire others to get out of their comfort zones and start their fitness journeys. In spite of her rocky start, she has achieved what can only be envied by many fitness enthusiasts. Paige Hathaway’s passion and dedication eventually paid off, with fitness becoming her fulltime career.

After the difficult upbringing, Paige Hathaway eventually moved out at 16. She wanted to take responsibility and control of her life, and a judge was kind enough to grant her the right of emancipation. She started from the bottom to become a fitness model in her mid-twenties. Paige Hathaway is a global ambassador for F45, an Australian studio gym that is setting up branches across the US.

Paige Hathaway grew up playing soccer and she was quite athletic. She had always desired to be fit and with strong muscles. However, she had never prioritized her health and fitness. As a teen, Paige had never lifted weights and did not consider herself an athlete.

Ronnie Coleman Classic

The fitness bug caught her when a trainer approached her and told her about a fitness competition. After encouragement from the fitness guy, she started training hard, getting out of her comfort zones. She trained religiously for four months and pushed herself to limits she never knew she could achieve. Against all odds, Paige Hathaway emerged 2nd place at Ronnie Coleman Classic. This gave her the much-needed exposure and network.

The competition was life-changing for Paige. She knew she wanted a career in the fitness industry. She focused on the newly found passion, seeking knowledge on the best health and nutrition for her body. She set new fitness goals and was laser-focused on achieving them.

Paige attended as much fitness shows and expos as she could, passing out flyers. As a result of her persistence, companies soon started knocking doors. She was slowly but surely building a brand, and many companies in the fitness industry were willing to offer sponsorship.

Paige Hathaway’s Instagram

Paige Hathaway tapped into social media as a powerful tool to inspire millions and document her fitness journey. Due to her incredible physique, Paige Hathaway’s Instagram is very popular, especially among teenagers. She has found fulfillment in helping other people achieve their fitness goals and lead healthy lifestyles. Her Instagram profile is also proof that you can make your health a priority and still live a fun balanced life.

Paige’s jet-setting lifestyle, as seen in her highly filtered Instagram profile, might lead to her fans thinking everything has been perfect for her. However, this can’t be further from the truth. Paige Hathaway has paid the dues on her fitness journey.

Nutritiоn/Diеt

Paige Hathaway believes in engaging your heart and soul to stay toned and fit.

She is very strict on what she eats, whether for cutting or bulking. It took years of devotion and self-education for Paige to achieve her perfectly toned body. She religiously follows a diet to stay lean throughout the year. This mostly consists of healthy foods such as red bell peppers. However, she enjoys a cheat meal once a week, which is mostly pizza. Having a cheat meal motivates her to work out harder in the gym.

Paige Hathaway’s balanced life approach to fitness and nutrition has earned her recognition from fitness magazines and mainstream media alike. Her diet mostly consists of foods with low calories. Paige Hathaway has her meals after every two to three hours, maintaining minimal gaps between meals

Training

Paige Hathaway recommends plyometrics for home workouts. She goes to the gym as much as she can, training multiple muscle groups every session. Paige advocates a lot for high reps.  She mostly sticks to 10-25 reps per set. However, she does up to 50 reps per set during leg days. Paige Hathaway mostly trains her legs and bottom, with her favorite experiences revolving around the areas.

She has abs workouts three times every week. The abs workouts are usually fixed at varying days, depending on how she feels. Paige Hathaway ends her workout with a steady state 15-35 minutes cardio, except during leg days. She ends every week with a rest day, giving her body ample time to recover. Burpees routines are her least favorite workout.

  • Thursday – Shoulders and Chest
  • Friday – Back and Biceps

Adversities

Paige Hathaway has overcome countless hurdles throughout her fitness journey. In her personal life, many partners have exploited her for fame and to get ahead in life. Also, her bodybuilding pictures attracted a lot of online hate. When she started fitness, lifting weights by women was not socially acceptable.

Even today, many people constantly comment on her Instagram harshly telling her that she looks like a man. As a fitness model in the public eye, she has to deal with a lot of criticism.

She has embraced all criticism, whether negative or positive, as good publicity. Paige’s story is a challenge for fitness enthusiasts across the world to embrace adversity and focus on their ambitions.
