Khabib Nurmagomedov And Conor Mcgregor

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor have been trading shots on social media since the Khabib’s dominant win over Edson Barboza at UFC 219, and it seems like it won’t stop anytime soon.

Shortly after Khabib’s win over Barboza, he called out both Ferguson and McGregor in his post-fight interview, with the Dagestani wrestler having already been slated to take on Ferguson back in March of 2017 before he was pulled off the card due to weight cutting issues.

McGregor has said in the past that he would happily fight Nurmagomedov in Russia, and now he called Khabib’s performance ‘dog sh-t’ on Twitter and told the undefeated Dagestani to get on his knees and ‘beg’ for a fight.

Check below for the recent exchange between the lightweights on Twitter and Instagram.

Khabib wasted no time and replied swiftly: “Shut up #TapMashine” accompanied with a chicken emoji.

However, the Dagestani phenom had some more social media ammunition.

Taking a jab at his gear:

Khabib trolling him after claiming he’d fight Nurmagomedov on his home soil.

Ultimately, no matter what Nurmagomedov has to say about it, McGregor holds all the cards firmly in his hand. He’s the sport’s biggest name, and just about everyone who’s anywhere near his weight class is chomping at the bit for a chance to square off with him. This queue could potentially include Mayweather, who UFC President Dana White claims is considering bringing his talents over to the UFC.

McGregor is clearly aware of this rumor and posted the picture below to give us a preview of what he thinks would happen.

McGregor hasn’t fought in the Octagon since UFC 205 where he defeated Eddie Alvarez via TKO and has yet to defend his lightweight title. The Irishman spent most of 2017 hyping a multi-million-boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr., a fight which he lost via 10th-round TKO this past August.

Meanwhile, Tony Ferguson is also waiting in a row for title unification bout. Which match-up do you want to see with Conor Mcgregor?
