Calum Von Moger gives an update on his physique and reveals he need another bicep surgery
Calum von Moger suffered pretty nasty injuries is past few months, first bicep tear and most recently ruptured the quadriceps tendon, dislocated kneecap & again a bicep tear. After undergoing the surgery a few months ago, Calum has released a new update.
When a bodybuilder gets injured and loses their games, it’s no laughing matter. Bodybuilding takes so much determination & sacrifice that a small injury that prevents you from training can completely derail years of consistent hard work. Calum’s physique has changed a lot since his recent keen surgery as he is not been able to train his injured leg.
No matter how you slice it, that’s completely demoralizing. One day you’re killing it in the gym on a consistent basis, the next all your hard earned muscle fades away. It’s a truth that Calum had to face now.
Calum recently shared a picture on his Instagram that shows just how much damage the injury has caused him, Calum wrote:
“Before and after quad tear.
It’s been really hard watching my muscle mass disappear over the past 17 weeks. It also sucks because I can’t train upper body the way I’d like with my bicep still torn. I did an arm workout last week on my right quad and biceps and even though I used lite weights, the following day I had bruising in my forearm. I can’t find the words to describe my frustrations of not being able to train normally. Going to the gym is so important to me and right now it’s like giving a kid candy and saying they can’t eat it; I see all the big dumbbells but I can’t play with them.

Anyway, I have accepted my circumstances. Being SKINNY is just going to have to be part of my recovery process for 2018.”
Calum added that he is planning to go for another surgery to fix his Bicep before 2019 starts:
“I plan to get the surgery done on my bicep late September following the mr. O. I’ll have 3 months of rehab for my arm again before 2019 starts. Then I will finally kick back into gear and rebuild what I had.”
Despite all the setbacks, Calum is optimistic like any true bodybuilder and hoping to make a full comeback:
“As for the rest of 2018, I’ll be honing my Jedi mind & ninja koala freak skills so that I’ll be prepared for whatever might come my way in the future.”
Hopefully, we see Calum Von Moger back into his prime shape and doing what he does best!
