The 2019 CrossFit Games start the day after tomorrow! Ahead of the competition, check out the first few events the athletes will be competing in.

Update: Watch The 2019 CrossFit Games

This year’s CrossFit Games marks the beginning of several changes. From a change to how it is produced and aired, to how the scoring will be taking place. This year will be exciting for the more than 200 athletes competing at this year’s CrossFit Games.

Prior to the start of the CrossFit Games, check out the first few events that will be taking place starting tomorrow. These events will be competed on Friday and Saturday, in the Teens and Masters Division.

2019 CrossFit Games – Friday

Row & Burpee
(Age 14-17 and 35-54 Divisions)

For time:

  • 500-meter row
  • 30 bar-facing burpees

Age 55+ Divisions will not perform this event.

Two Ropes
(Age 16-17 and 35-49 Divisions)

5 rounds for time of:

  • 3 rope climbs
  • 15 front squats
  • 60 double-unders

W 75 lb. M 115 lb.

(Age 14-15 and 50-54 Divisions)

5 rounds for time of:

  • 3 rope climbs
  • 15 front squats
  • 60 double-unders

W 65 lb. M 95 lb.

(Age 55+ Divisions)

5 rounds for time of:

  • 2 rope climbs
  • 10 front squats
  • 40 double-unders

W 65 lb. M 95 lb.

Sandbag Triplet
(Age 16-17 and 35-54 Divisions)

  • 90-ft. handstand walk
  • 30 W / 35 M air bike calories
  • 90-ft. sandbag carry

W 140-lb. bag M 200-lb. bag

(Age 14-15 and 55-59 Divisions)

  • 90-ft. handstand walk
  • 25 W / 30 M air bike calories
  • 90-ft. sandbag carry

W 100-lb. bag M 140-lb. bag

(Age 60+ Divisions)

  • 90-ft. sandbag carry
  • 20 W / 30 M air bike calories
  • 30-ft. handstand walk

Down & Back Chipper
(Age 16-17 and 35-49 Divisions)

  • 800-m run
