2023 Arnold Classic Wellness International Prejudging Report

The 2023 Arnold Classic is taking place between March 2-5, in Columbus, Ohio. Wellness competitors met for prejudging to determine who would lead the contest heading into the finals. 

Last year (2022), the Wellness category debuted at the annual Arnold Classic. Isabelle Nunes brought a showstopping package, winning the show convincingly. She hoped to defend her title this weekend but withdrew from the event last week due to a worsening knee injury. As a result, a new Arnold Classic Wellness champion will be crowned.

With Nunes out of commission, fans have highlighted a few of the division’s frontrunners heading into prejudging. Third-place 2022 Olympia finisher Angela Borges will be in attendance and eager to prove herself again after turning in a runner-up showing in Ohio last year. Her signature stage presence and eloquent posing make her a unique challenge for other competitors. 

Fans also expected exciting performances from standouts Sunny Andrews, Marissa Andrews, and Kassandra Gillis — who entered this show with plenty of momentum. Following three exhausting call outs during prejudging, it appears Angela Borges and Kassandra Gillis are leading the show. Many fans were taken aback by their impressive lower bodies and symmetry.
