Lineup Overview

Tom Stoltman and Mitchell Hooper are without a doubt the biggest favorites for this competition, but Tom seems to have an advantage. Stoltman will be performing on home turf, since he is originating from and living in Scotland. He is also a 2x WSM, but is lacking victories in other contests. However, he hopes that will change at the 2023 Giants Live World Tour Finals.

Mitchell Hooper on the other hand has had everything go perfectly for him in his first year of competing. First, he won some International shows, then claimed the 2023 Arnold Strongman Classic title, and ended up winning the 2023 WSM as well. His winning streak stopped in his previous two performances, but he hopes to rekindle it.

Tom’s brother, Luke Stoltman, also proved to be quite a threat recently, as he displayed some amazing performances. Luke is the 2021 Europe’s Strongest Man, one of the greatest Log Lifters in history, and a complete athlete overall. So, he is definitely one that could produce a surprise at the upcoming contest.

Pavlo Kordiyaka of Ukraine is one of the fan favorites, a status he received due to some extraordinary feats of strength. He already won the 2023 Europe’s Strongest Man competition, meaning it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him in the title battle here as well.

While everyone could be a surprise, one other man who deserves to be mentioned is Luke Richardson. He was easily one of the greatest talents in the sport, but a streak of injuries set him back. He is now coming back for the first time in a long time and hopes to make it count.
