The 2023 Musclecontest Campinas Pro competition took place on March 18, 2023. A total of 12 Bikini competitors gathered in Sao Paulo, Brazil to determine who would walk away with gold and an Olympia qualification.
There have been notable changes to the IFBB Pro League’s Olympia Qualification System. Unlike last year, competitors can no longer punch tickets to the annual Olympia Weekend by accumulating points. The point system has been removed, therefore, to qualify, athletes must win a pro show.
Later this year, the 2023 Mr. Olympia contest will see the world’s best bodybuilders collide for the sport’s most esteemed title. While Olympia took place in Las Vegas a few months ago, this year’s event will return to Orlando, Florida.
A few favorites stood out on paper heading into this weekend’s event. Gessica Brun has been a consistent top finisher while navigating her career. Meanwhile, Anna Paula Baggio planned to deliver her best look to date after taking bronze at the 2023 Musclecontest Japan Pro. Mirian Barboso also enters this contest having registered fourth and sixth at previous editions of the Musclecontest Campinas Pro (2021, 2022).
