The 2023 Musclecontest International Austria Pro show took place December 8-9 in Schwechat, Austria, serving as a 2024 Mr. Olympia-qualifying event for competitors hailing from the Classic Physique division.

In light of the 2023 Olympia contest wrapping up last month, fans are already measuring up the new Classic Physique landscape in the IFBB Pro League. In a surprising event in Orlando, Florida, Chris Bumstead walked away as the five-time champion despite suffering from a torn lat.

Looking ahead, the 2024 Mr. Olympia show is set for a return to Las Vegas, Nevada at the Resorts World, closely connected with the Las Vegas Convention Center. With that in mind, bodybuilders brought their best to the stage in pursuit of a coveted qualification for the big show on October 10-13 of next year!

Aiming to secure a 2024 Mr. Olympia qualification early, Classic Physique talent delivered fireworks in Austria. Among the top contenders were Michael Daboul and Craig Morton, both of whom brought impressive balance and proportions. Michael Daboul has remained busy in 2023. A few weeks ago, he tested his resolve at the 2023 EVLS Prague Pro, where he secured second place in a tight competition against Urs Kalecinski.

Morton last stepped on stage at the 2022 Yamamoto France Pro and took fifth place. In the end, Michael Daboul won and picked up an early qualification for 2024 Mr. Olympia! Craig Morton and Stephane Matala finished second and third place.
