The 2024 British Championships was one of many IFBB Pro League-sanctioned events taking place over the weekend on October 19, featuring competitors from the Classic Physique and Men’s Physique categories.
The 2024 Mr. Olympia contest just concluded and left the bodybuilding world with plenty to talk about. In Classic Physique, Chris Bumstead cemented himself as a six-time Classic Physique Olympia winner after defeating finalists Mike Sommerfeld and Urs Kalecinski. Shortly after the triumph, he gave a heartfelt speech, announcing his retirement from the sport. This leaves room for a new contender to take the throne next year.
In Men’s Physique, Ryan Terry extended his reign, having presented another complete package. He defeated Alil Bilal and Erin Banks to get the job done. With these two champions sitting at the top of their respective divisions, competitors in Europe brought their best in hopes of challenging them on the horizon.
