The 2024 Joe Weider’s Fitness and Performance Olympia Weekend is upon us and is currently taking place from October 11-12. Competitors from the Wellness category met for prejudging on October 11 inside the Las Vegas Convention Center at 9:30 a.m.
Thus far, we’ve only seen one titleholder emerge from the Wellness Olympia and that’s three-time reigning champion Francielle Mattos (2021-2023), who defines the criteria with exceptional lower body density, graceful posing, and beautiful aesthetics. But make no mistake, athletes brought showstopping packages in an attempt to knock her off the throne.
During prejudging, the reigning champion Francielle Mattos stunned the audience, having showcased significant improvements to her lower body. Her aesthetics, thin waist, and ham glute tie-ins painted a dominant picture throughout comparisons.
Isabelle Nunes also displayed eye-catching shape to break into the final ninth callout. While it’s going to take a herculean effort to dethrone Mattos, it’s not off the table till Bob Cicherillo reads the finals scorecard tonight when the show commences at 7 p.m.
