The 2025 Giants Live Strongman Classic took place in one of the most iconic Strongman arenas in the world, the Royal Albert Hall, on July 5th. The only event where Evan dropped a significant amount of points was the Castle Stones, where he finished in ninth place. Lucas Hatton was the man to watch on the Log Medley, as any type of an overhead press is his forte. He ended up exceeding the expectations, locking out the first four implements with a strict press, only slowing down a bit for the final and heaviest log. His time came out to 37.71 seconds, making him the clear winner of the event.
Trey Mitchell is definitely a powerhouse, known for his incredible static strength and insane levels of brute force. So, he made easy work of all five logs but was six seconds slower than Hatton. So, he had to settle for second place. Mateusz Kieliszkowski finished two seconds after Trey, thus rounding out the top three.

Event Two — Hercules Hold
While the first event was focused on speed, the second event was all about endurance and grip strength. So, the athletes were put through the Hercules Hold challenge, where they had to hold two massive pillars for as long as possible. Not only did they have to showcase incredible strength, but also their readiness to endure tremendous amounts of pain.
The Hercules Hold featured some surprising results, starting with Evan Singleton, who emerged victorious despite coming back from a recent bicep injury. He clearly recovered well, having held the pillars for one minute and 11 seconds to take the event win.
Nick Guardione also displayed an incredible performance, holding the implements for one minute and 10 seconds. So, only one second separated him from Singleton, but that ended up costing him the event win. Nick, however, still secured a valuable second-place finish. Jaco Schoonwinkel finished with a time of 67.70 seconds, thus beating three other athletes who were within just 1.5 seconds of him.

As a result, they had to pick up and carry a 360-kilogram (793.7-pound) implement across the competition floor, racing against each other to see who the quickest man would be. This event was especially hard to perform following the Hercules Hold, as both focus a lot on grip strength.
Evan Singleton secured his second event win in a row, being one of the few men to finish the task in under ten seconds. His exact time came out to 9.13 seconds. Evan immediately recognized that he won the event and was unable to contain his excitement, jumping up onto the frame and screaming at the top of his lungs.
The South African Strongman, Jaco Schoonwinkel, also continued putting up impressive results, crossing the course in 9.61 seconds. This allowed him to beat Paddy Haynes by just 0.05 seconds in their intense battle for second place.

Event Four — Deadlift
As the 2025 Giants Live Strongman Classic was slowly coming to a close, the athletes performed one of the staple events in Strongman — the Deadlift. The competition used an Axle barbell, which is known for its stiffness, making the lift even harder. It was loaded with 350 kilograms (771.6 pounds) in total, setting the task of performing as many reps as possible.
Trey Mitchell’s deadlift abilities skyrocketed after his Achilles tear from two years ago. Ever since then, Trey has been winning or placing high in pretty much every deadlift event he took part in. So, it was not a surprise to see him top the leaderboards at the Giants Live Strongman Classic. He was the only man to enter the double digits, stopping himself at 10 reps.
Paddy Haynes, despite being one of the lightest athletes on the Pro Strongman scene, proved that he is one of the best deadlifters in the world. He locked out eight reps to grab second place, getting away from a two-man tie for third-place, which saw Evan Singleton and Mitchell Hooper share the spot.
- Trey Mitchell — 10 reps
- Paddy Haynes — 8 reps
- Evan Singleton — 7 reps
- Mitchell Hooper — 7 reps
- Jaco Schoonwinkel — 6 reps

It was a series of five stones that had to be lifted onto their respective platforms, with the heaviest implement coming out to a mind-blowing 200 kilograms (440.9 pounds). It was also a timed event, meaning that the athletes were in a race to see who would complete the task quicker.
Paddy Haynes showcased another unbelievable performance, lifting all five stones with ease and completing the event in just 22.88 seconds. He beat all 11 other competitors, including some amazing stone lifters. This event win came at just the right time for Paddy, as it secured him a third-place overall.
The reigning World’s Strongest Man, Rayno Nel, proved how great he is in stone-lifting events, finishing the event in 24.46 seconds to place just behind Paddy. His fellow countryman, Jaco Schoonwinkel, had to settle for third-place in the event, being just 0.27 seconds slower.
- Paddy Haynes — 5 in 22.88 s
