The 2025 Rogue Invitational Strongman & Strongwoman competition took place from October 31st – November 1st in Aberdeen, Scotland. Spanning across two days, the show tested nine men and 10 women across a series of six challenges, all meticulously designed to evaluate all aspects of strength. Ultimately, Mitchell Hooper and Inez Carrasquillo took home the title.
Mitchell Hooper had an insanely consistent performance despite facing some of the strongest men in the world. He won two events but also secured three second-place finishes, along with just one sixth place. As a result, he gathered a total of 52 points and won the Rogue Invitational for the third year in a row.
Inez Carrasquillo opened the 2025 Rogue Invitational with a seventh-place finish, which put her in an unfavorable position. However, from that moment onward, Inez never placed lower than third and recorded three event wins. As such, she easily beat the other nine women and defended her title.

Day Two (November 1st)
Event Four — Circus Press Medley
The second day of the 2025 Rogue Invitational Strongman & Strongwoman competition kicked off with another medley. Specifically, the athletes faced multiple implements, including a kettlebell, dumbbell, and axle barbell. The aim of the event was to lift the entire series of implements and finish with as many reps as possible. The time limit was set to two minutes.
Men’s Weight: 210-lb (95-kg) Kettlebell, 253-lb (115-kg) Cyr Bell, 375-lb (170-kg) Circus Bar for Reps
Women’s Weight: 124-lb (56-kg) Kettlebell, 150-lb (68-kg) Cyr Bell, 235-lb (106.5-kg) Circus Bar for Reps
Strongman
An incredible battle took place in the Circus Press Medley between the two biggest favorites for the title. Trey Mitchell and Mitchell Hooper were truly in a league of their own, going head-to-head and racing to complete more reps than the other. However, both men got stuck after completing six reps. Trey Mitchell was unable to get the bar up to his shoulders despite being strong enough to press it. On the other hand, Hooper was unable to reach lockout on the seventh rep despite trying it twice. In the end, Trey took the event win, having completed his sixth rep quicker than Hooper.
Lucas Hatton finished in third place with a tally of five repetitions. Hatton’s pressing strength was not the limit for him, but similar to Trey Mitchell, he was unable to clean the barbell off the floor and up to his shoulders. However, his final score still secured him a top three finish.
- Trey Mitchell — 6 reps (1:15.98)
- Mitchell Hooper — 6 reps (1:19.93)
- Lucas Hatton — 5 reps (1:33.91)

Carrasquillo also made a statement with her performance, having taken the overall lead with two events left.
Andrea Thompson and Olga Liashchuk tied with six successful reps each. However, Andrea needed one minute and 45 seconds to achieve the feat, while Olga trailed her by three seconds. - Jennifer Lyle — 1 rep (0:12.10)
Event Five — Power Drive
The second-to-last event of the entire competition was the Power Drive. It was a challenge that consisted of two motions. Firstly, the athletes had to push a massive imitation of a hay bale for a distance of 30 feet and then pull a massive sled for another 40 feet. The aim of the event was to complete both tasks in the shortest time possible.
Men’s weight: 750-lb (340-kg) Power Drive, 740-lb (336-kg) Sled
Women’s weight: 600-lb (272-kg) Power Drive, 560-lb (254-kg) Sled
Strongman
Tom Stoltman put on a show in front of his home crowd in Scotland and won the Power Drive event. He pushed the first implement with force and then utilized his massive wingspan to crush the sled pull as well. As a result, he finished the entire event in 51.17 seconds. With the final event being his favorite, Tom put himself in a great spot to battle for the podium overall.
Knowing that the 2025 Rogue Invitational Strongman competition was slowly coming to a close, Mitchell Hooper knew that he had to make up some points on Trey Mitchell. So, he pushed hard on the penultimate event of the show and finished in second place with a time of one minute and four seconds. On the other hand, Mitchell placed seventh and allowed Hooper to take over the lead in the title race.

As a result, she managed to set the quickest time out of all women, finishing the event in one minute and 10 seconds and extending her overall lead.
Rebecca Roberts finished in a comfortable second place, setting a time of 1:15.39 to beat everyone except Inez. Olga Liashchuk and Lucy Underdown battled for third place in the Power Drive event. The Mons Megs Stones were the final event of the 2025 Rogue Invitational Strongman & Strongwoman competition. It was a variation of the Atlas Stones customized to pay tribute to Mons Meg, a historical siege cannon that resides at Edinburgh Castle. So, the goal for the athletes was to lift and load all stones in the shortest time possible.

Lyle struggled a bit in her opening event but managed to get back to her best and reach the 700-pound (317.5-kilogram) milestone. Event Two — Viking Press
The second event of the day was the Viking Press. It is a well-known event in the Strongman / Strongwoman community and is recognized as one of the best tests of upper-body strength. It features a special machine that allows the athlete to start with the implement at shoulder height and press the weight above their head. In this specific case, the athletes had a goal of performing as many reps as possible in the shortest time possible.
Men’s weight: 360-lb (163-kg)
Women’s weight: 225-lb (102-kg)
Strongman
Trey Mitchell was the star of the Viking Press. He paced himself perfectly, not going out too fast and managing to push himself throughout the entire minute that he was given to perform. In the end, Trey completed 22 repetitions to take the event win and add 10 points to his tally.
Mitchell Hooper continued his charge for the title with a second-place finish in the Viking Press. He was the final man to step out onto the competition floor, meaning that he knew the exact number of reps that he wanted to achieve. So, he utilized an explosive approach, making sure to quickly perform a dozen reps. He then reached 16 reps and decided to push himself a bit further in the final seconds to finish behind Trey. Bryce Johnson and Lucas Hatton tied for third place with 16 reps each.

So, not only did she display impressive performance, but also remarkable endurance as well.
However, Angelica Jardine was not far behind, having locked out 18 reps in total. She was on pace to take the event win, having completed 17 consecutive reps without rest. However, her strength then gave out, and she had to take a few seconds of rest before adding another rep to her tally. So, to close out day one, the athletes first had to perform a heavy Yoke Carry, followed by Power Stairs, where they had to carry multiple implements up a flight of stairs. The aim of the event was to finish the entire task in the shortest time possible.
Men’s weight: 1,050-lb (476-kg) Yoke / 500-lb (227-kg), 550-lb (250-kg), and 600-lb (272-kg) Power Stairs

Strongman
Paddy Haynes took the event win in the Yoke Escalator, as his fitness proved to be crucial. The Yoke carry was not his strength, but his ability to carry the implements up the stairs without burning out was the winning factor. He finished the event in one minute and 26 seconds, which was over half a minute quicker than anyone else.
Trey Mitchell continued putting up incredible results and finished second in the Yoke Escalator. Like Haynes, Mitchell was not the quickest on the Yoke Carry. However, once he transitioned to the Power Stairs, he easily overtook multiple athletes who got stuck. Thomas Evans placed third by finishing three seconds after Trey. Interestingly, Mitchell Hooper was in the lead throughout the majority of the race but was unable to lift the 600-pound (272-kilogram) implement and did not finish the race.
