The 2025 Southern California Pro took place on Saturday, June 7, at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina in San Diego, CA. This Wellness division contest served as a 2025 Olympia Weekend qualifier for the 13 competitors who stepped on stage representing various nations.
The winner would earn a coveted spot on the Wellness Olympia stage, part of the Olympia Weekend set for October 9-12 in Las Vegas, NV. Heading into the contest, none of the athletes had qualified for the 2025 Olympia yet.
Shanique Grant Wins Wellness at the 2025 Southern California Championships
Shanique Grant, a two-time Women’s Physique Olympia champion, continued her new journey in the Wellness division. After placing sixth at the 2025 Legion Sports Fest Pro in her Wellness debut, Grant came back strong in San Diego, showcasing the size, shape, and symmetry needed to dominate the category.
Meanwhile, Lilian Nava brought momentum from her third-place showing at the Legion Sports Fest, finishing runner-up here as she continues to chase her first pro victory.
