The 2025 Wodland Fest CrossFit Semifinal took place on April 25-27, in Malaga, Spain. It was the first of two Semifinals taking place in Europe, thus gathering some of the fittest people from the aforementioned continent. Seven grueling workouts tested the athletes’ limits to determine the most deserving contenders for the title. Ultimately, Roman Khrennikov and Lucy Campbell were crowned the winners.
Like the majority of other in-person Semifinals, the 2025 Wodland Fest was giving out a total of four qualifying spots for the 2025 CrossFit Games. So, only the top two athletes in both the men’s and women’s divisions secured their tickets for the biggest competition of the season.

Men
Roman Khrennikov crushed the competition, winning four out of seven events, along with two additional 2nd-place finishes. So, he ended up with 662 points, which was more than enough to secure him the victory and the qualification for the 2025 CrossFit Games.
Moritz Fiebig has also secured the qualification for the Games, where he is set to make his fourth consecutive appearance. Moritz won two events at the 2025 Wodland Fest, but also finished in the top 8 across all other workouts. Lucy Campbell had an exceptional performance in the 2025 CrossFit Open, where she finished third worldwide in the women’s division. Lucy has only made one appearance in the CrossFit Games back in 2022, but has now punched her ticket for this year as well.
