Conor McGregor Posts Bail, June Hearing Set
UFC star Conor Mcgregor was captured on camera attacking the bus, throwing chairs, guard rails, and dollies on the bus which was carrying UFC fighters. The incident led Michael Chiesa, and Ray Borg both picked up injuries and unable to compete at UFC 223 on Saturday night.
Mcgregor who turned himself to NYPD on late Thursday night and spent the night in lockup. On Friday morning, Conor Mcgregor was extracted out of a Brooklyn police precinct in handcuffs to the courthouse. He faced three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief due to his antics at UFC 223 presser.
As per recent reports from MMAFighting’s Ariel Helani, Conor McGregor was granted bail of $50,000 on Friday after appearing at the Kings County Criminal Court on assault charges for his mayhem at the UFC 223 media day Thursday.
Dillon Danis paid for McGregor’s 50k bail, I’m told. So, McGregor should be able to leave right away.

Another MMA fighter and teammate Cian Cowley, who was also involved in the Thursday rampage, charged with one count of misdemeanor assault and one count of criminal mischief. He was released on bail of $25,000.

MMA journalist Ariel Helwani reports that UFC President Dana White was in attendance at the Brooklyn courthouse, but isn’t allowed to speak to anyone at the moment.
Both athletes posted bail and will be allowed to travel. McGregor’s next hearing is set for June 14. Regardless of their legal standing, Mcgregor and his team members are not allowed at Friday’s UFC 223 weigh-in or at the event itself on Saturday.
