2. Mesomorphs

Arnold MesomorphsMesomorphs have large bone structure, broader arms, large muscles and an athletic physique. You can say that they’ve an optimal build and considered to be as the best body built type for bodybuilding.

General Features:

  • Easy for them to lose and gain weight
  • Have a hard body
  • Rectangular shaped
  • Strong

This body type responds the best to the weight training. The only downside is that they gain fat more easily as compared to ectomorphs so they need to check about their dietary intake. Cardio with optimized strength training is considered best for them. They can train their body any time in the entire day to get the optimum results, but still, the time in the afternoon is considered best for their workouts.

As example with Mesomorphic tendencies, I’d look to former pro bodybuilders Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mike Mentzer and Tom Platz
