3. Endomorph

Jay Cutler EndomorphsThey generally have a soft and round body type and have a stocky build. Having a shorter stature, thick arms, stronger upper legs, and broad shoulders.

General Features:

  • Gains muscle mass easily
  • Round and short body
  • Hard to lose fat
  • Show metabolism
  • Muscle built is not well defined

Endomorphs are the people who have such a body type that they gain the weight very easily and loses it very slowly. So to keep the fat gain to a minimum endo’s are to focus more on cardio and strength exercises. Usually, supplements are not needed for such people. Training in the morning is highly recommended as the testosterone levels are high in the morning and will promote in fat loss in endomorphs.

Best example with Endomorphic tendencies are Jay Cutler and Dave Draper.

Lastly, each body type is different there is no such set criteria that will decide if a person is 100% ectomorph, mesomorph or an endomorph. But you get the idea of how you can classify them by gross examination and you can apply some rules accordingly.
