Brian Shaw was placed second, while Mateusz Kieliszkowski ended up in the third place. This 2.06 meters tall and 180 kg giant from Iceland has demonstrated what does the ultimate level of supreme power means. Yet, “The Mountain” didn’t dominate all the disciplines.

There were six difficult challenges in this event. “Thor” was reserved during the first two. In truck pull, Hafthor Bjornsson wasn’t the winner. But when you look at his video, it looks like he is playing with 30 tone truck.

Arm over arm pull was the second discipline. The British strongman Terry Holland was leading the competition after the first two events. Yet, he ended the ninth overall and hurried to share his thoughts on Instagram.

But the third discipline is “Thor’s” old love. A Juggernaut from Iceland earned the score of amazing 1,145 lbs in silver dollar deadlift. And now the most shocking thing – “The Mountain” claims he didn’t use maximum power here too!

We saw Bjornsson’s fantastic performance in yoke walk too.

In press medley, Hafthor Bjornsson gained a critical advantage. He was able to lift four super heavy obstacles over his head in less than 90 seconds!

He was defeated in atlas stones to American competitor Brian Shaw, who lifted all the five. Despite Hafthor Bjornsson had a hard time with the fifth stone, it was enough to win the competition.

Judging by the video clips this warrior was posting on Instagram, it looks like he was preparing like a pro for this event.

Second place Brian Shaw banked $35,000, meanwhile, third place Matteusz Kieliszkowski took home $15,000.

“Thor’s” career shows no signs of slowing down. During the year 2018, he has already won four great titles. Let’s hope his winning reign will continue in 2019!
