Ronnie Coleman has a heart of a true champion! Former 8x Mr. Olympia is not slowing down, the complex surgeries haven’t changed the work ethic that Ronnie Coleman possesses.
He’s like a machine on every single level. He reached a size in his prime that could not be matched. He trained with an intensity that cannot be matched. And he has been dedicated to bodybuilding (despite numerous injuries and surgeries) non stop.
He stated multiple times after each surgery that he regrets nothing… but will never stop lifting weights.
Ronnie has been working hard in the gym before going for another surgery in this month or in early January 2018. Any normal person wouldn’t be still training at this point. A normal person wouldn’t be able to do half of what Ronnie Coleman has done and is still doing. Ronnie is more than an average man. He is a beast. An alien. A superhuman incapable of being stopped.
The Instagram post below shows Ronnie Coleman along with his training partner Big J, who hopes to get his IFBB Pro card next year, Coleman is looking to defy the odds and continue to train hard for as long as possible.

Training legs with my Buddy @bigj_extremefitness this morning and we’re trying our best to get our legs bigger. Both my legs are still numb but ain’t nothing wrong with my heart. I’m pushing with all heart here and this is the second time I’ve done 4 plates on the leg press. I was going for 20 Rep’s and only got 17 but I did finish off the 3 reps after a 2 second rest which Big J did not record. As y’all can see Big J is playing with 13 plates. He did 27 reps real easy and came all the way back touching his chest with every single rep, the last 5 he almost caved his chest in he came so far back. Hopefully after my next surgery which will be either this month but most likely January after the Family cruise I’ll be able to do 13 plates like my idol Big J. But of course I gotta do 5 plates first which I know for I can do now. There’s no quit and no lack of confidence in these 2 old men. I’m 53, Big J 51 and we’re still training every day after all this time, I’ve been doing this for 41 years and so has Big J. Next up is pro card for my Buddy, he’s taking the Bodybuilding world by storm at a contest next year so stay tuned and witness the old man kick some booty in the two thousand eighteen.
