The 2024 Musclecontest Nordeste Pro contest went down on April 13 in Recife, Brazil, and featured competitors from the Men’s Physique division. This event served as a Mr. Olympia qualifier for later this year.
Considering there is no point system in place this season, competitors hoping to grace the 2024 Mr. Olympia stage must earn a Pro show victory by the September 15 deadline. In celebration of the organization’s 60th anniversary, the Mr. Olympia show will return to Las Vegas, Nevada from October 10-13.
After numerous comparisons and call-outs, the upper body definition and slim waist of Edvan Palmeira impressed the judges through prejudging and the finals. As a result, he won gold and will have the opportunity to face the reigning Men’s Physique Olympia Ryan Terry in the near future.
