Luke Stoltman’s season started off well, as he reclaimed his title at the 2024 Europe’s Strongest Man competition. However, at the same time, Luke also picked up a bicep injury. It didn’t seem severe at that moment, as he was able to continue competing. Unfortunately, the situation has changed, and the injury has now forced him to withdraw from the 2024 Strongest Man On Earth competition.
The news of Luke Stoltman’s withdrawal came straight from the organizers who posted the announcement on their Instagram. They revealed that the full recovery of athletes is imperative, which indicates that the aforementioned biceps tear is still an issue for Luke.
Maxime Boudreault has been announced as Luke Stoltman’s replacement for the 2024 Strongest Man On Earth. The Canadian Strongman has placed exceptionally high in some elite competitions like the WSM, and will now get the chance to battle for another prestigious title.

Luke Stoltman revealed extensive information about his injury recently, but he believed that he would be able to recover in time for the 2024 Strongest Man On Earth. Initially, Luke thought that his bicep was just inflamed, but realized that it might be something more severe when the pain wasn’t getting any better after some time.
Luke Stoltman has never suffered a severe tear prior to this, which is why he decided to be extra careful. Luckily, his bicep tear was only partial, meaning that he didn’t have to undergo surgery. However, Luke still needs a lot of rest, thus allowing his injury to heal properly. Unfortunately, he has to sacrifice his appearance at the 2024 Strongest Man On Earth for the sake of his physical well-being.
Apart from that, Luke Stoltman has also previously withdrawn from the 2024 Giants Live Strongman Classic, which was another exciting competition for him. Therefore, Luke’s plans for the season have been altered significantly. This is a shame, considering that he is coming off an impressive 9th place finish at the 2024 World’s Strongest Man, where he was also carrying the bicep injury.
This injury is just another chapter of Luke Stoltman’s incredible career which started over a decade ago. He has since taken part in 36 International and 12 National competitions, winning three in total. It is, however, important to note that Luke has faced some incredible athletes over the years, including Brian Shaw, Hafthor Bjornsson, Eddie Hall, and none other than his own brother, Tom Stoltman.
