The 2025 Musclecontest Nordesto Pro took place on Saturday, April 12 in Recife, Brazil, featuring an all-Brazilian lineup of 10 Men’s Physique athletes vying for a coveted spot at the 2025 Olympia, scheduled for October 9–12 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The show provided one Olympia qualification to the winner—no athlete in the lineup had previously qualified for the 2025 season, making this a high-stakes opportunity.

Vitor Chaves Dominates in Classic Fashion
Coming in as the favorite, Vitor Chaves delivered a flawless performance from prejudging to finals. With his tight waist, broad upper body, and refined stage presence, Chaves left no doubt in the judges’ minds and walked away with first place and his fourth consecutive Olympia qualification.
Chaves, who placed seventh at the 2024 Men’s Physique Olympia, continues to prove he’s one of the division’s most consistent athletes. His last win came at the 2024 Miami Muscle Beach Pro, and this victory only strengthens his case as a top contender for this year’s showdown with reigning champ Ryan Terry.
Guilherme Gualberto, who took eighth at the 2025 Arnold Classic, secured a solid second place finish in Recife. He previously competed in the 2024 Olympia but landed outside the top 15. With a strong showing here, he inches closer to another shot at the big stage.
Gil Batista placed third, bringing tight conditioning and sharp lines to complete the top three.
