Kristy Hawkins is the highest-ranked powerlifter in the world across both the men’s and women’s divisions, which is why many were delighted to see her compete at the 2025 King & Queen of the Platform 5. The competition took place on December 6-7 in Port Charlotte, FL, and saw Kristy appear in the 82.5-kilogram weight class. She then put up one of the most incredible performances in history, winning the competition and setting new Raw Squat and Total All-Time World Records.
Kristy Hawkins’ Full Performance Breakdown
Kristy Hawkins weighed in at 76.6 kilograms (168.9 pounds) for the competition, which was significantly below the allowed 82.5-kilogram (181.9-pound) limit. However, she did so purposefully, as she wanted “to be more competitive on dots”, which takes into account the bodyweight and the weight lifted. Despite weighing in light, Kristy still found a lot of success.
Squat
The squat was the highlight of Kristy Hawkins’ performance at the 2025 King & Queen of the Platform 5. Her heaviest attempt came out to 290 kilograms (639.3 pounds), which marked a new Competition PR and a U82.5KG All-Time World Record. It is important to note that Kristy competed in the raw division, which means that she was only allowed to use a lifting belt and a pair of knee sleeves for her squat.
Kristy Hawkins’ squat moved very smoothly, which is not a surprise considering that she achieved the same lift in training while preparing for the competition. So, when the time came for her to perform, she made easy work of the lift and absolutely crushed the World Record.
*Hunter Henderson held the previous U82.5KG Raw Squat All-Time World Record of 267.5-kg (589.7-lb), which she set at the 2023 WRPF The Ghost Clash 2.

Bench Press
Kristy Hawkins also put on a show on the bench press, where she managed to build up to 160 kilograms (352.7 pounds) on her heaviest attempt. She started off powerfully but hit a sticking point at the top of the lift. Luckily, she managed to lock it out to set a new Personal Record. Interestingly, the bench press came out to over 2x her bodyweight, which makes it even more impressive.
Deadlift
The deadlift did not quite go the way Kristy Hawkins had hoped, as she only made one successful attempt at 270 kilograms (595.2 pounds). She then tried to pull 280 kilograms (617.3 pounds) twice. While she had the power to get the bar off the floor, her grip gave out on both attempts. However, her deadlift opener was still enough to secure her a new U82.5KG Raw Total All-Time World Record.
“Grip was never an issue until I was pulling over 600 pounds and now I just need to fix it because it’s my Kryptonite.” wrote Kristy on Instagram.
