Jason Lowe, a former Olympia competitor, passed away at the age of 38. He was an IFBB Pro who competed at the highest level for many years and still had plans for the future. Sadly, his wife shared the news of his unexpected passing.

Just one day before he passed away, Jason Lowe posted a workout video, which made the news even more heartbreaking for many people. His death came suddenly and without warning. While the cause was not shared, his wife’s emotional message showed how deeply he was loved and how much he meant to those closest to him.

“Today will be the hardest day of my life. I don’t know if words will ever be enough to hold what you meant to me, because they all feel so small in comparison. You made me a better version of myself, and you were going to be the absolute best dad. Saying that I’m devastated doesn’t even begin to touch the depth of this loss. I’m sitting here in our backyard writing this in your Olympia jacket, trying to feel close to you, trying to make sense of a world that already feels different without you in it.” wrote Jason Lowe’s wife.

Jason Lowe’s Bodybuilding Career

Jason Lowe found a passion for bodybuilding at a very early age, which, along with his hard work and dedication, led him down a very successful path. He secured his IFBB Pro Card in 2017 at the NPC Junior USA Championships, where he competed in Classic Physique. He proceeded to compete in a number of high profile IFBB competitions, often placing near the top of the leaderboards and even winning some competitions like the 2018 IFBB San Antonio Pro. He even made an appearance at the 2019 Olympia, where he finished in 16th place.

After some time, Jason Lowe transitioned to the 212 Division, where he found some more success. He appeared at the Olympia once more in 2020, but this time achieved an even better result with an 11th-place finish.
