We’ve seen some pretty ridiculous things but nothing tops this one… the legend Lee Priest was trying to advertise and promote his new movie on Kickstarter and the ad was denied by Facebook for a pretty absurd reason…

Apparently, Lee Priest was too muscular in the photo he posted and it could make other people jealous, and/or feel bad about themselves?

Well, this is the message he got after posting his ad…

Image issue This ad isn’t running because it uses images that excessively focus on a person’s body or any given body part. (ex: focusing on abs or belly fat). This can make users feel bad about themselves, and goes against our core value of fostering a positive global community.”

“What to do next: Avoid images with close-ups of specific body parts or before-and-after photos.”

Now, Lee Priest wasn’t happy about this and expressed his disgust in an Instagram post…

“SERIOUSLY FUCK ME LOL. The world has gone CRAZY!! My Facebook ad for my kickstarter was rejected. Read this Message. This is why we made this film. To inspire people not make them feel bad. You can’t control how anybody feels about anything. I only need 80 more fans to pre-order a Blu-ray or DVD Visit realleepriest.com to get to my kickstarter. This one of the reasons I left Facebook.”

Lee Priest states that the film was made to inspire people and not to make them feel bad about themselves but unfortunately, Facebook is not on the same page. But this Facebook ad message doesn’t make much sense as there are plenty of examples where someone posted their body on Facebook to show progress or even to advertise a brand/supplement.

Lee Priest explained that he only needed 80 more fans to pre-order a Blue-ray or DVD and they can visit his Kickstarter campaign through realleepriest.com.
