CrossFit HQ Reveals Four More Sanctional Events For 2020

CrossFit announces additional information on four qualifying sanctionals for the 2020 season.

CrossFit announced four additional sanctionals which will take place in Mainz, Germany; Hurghada, Egypt; Asbury Park, New Jersey; and Gol, Norway. Now, these competitions are licensed by CrossFit and athletes can earn an invite by winning one of them.

So, one male and female champion, plus the winning team from each sanctioned will earn a ticket to the CrossFit Games next year in Madison, Wisconsin. Now, there are already six sanctioned events scheduled in 2020 but now there’s ten in total after this latest announcement.

The CrossFit CEO Jeff Cain had this to say about the Sanctional events which have opened the doors for much more possibilities for athletes everywhere… “The CrossFit Sanctionals provide greater opportunities for athletes, sponsors, and fans to participate in, and to attend, competitive CrossFit events around the globe, all the while preserving the individual and regional character of local events”.
