Vegan Strongman Patrik Baboumian Diet

Being a vegan strongman is challenging, to say the least. However, Patrik Baboumian seems to have figured out the best way to supplement his body, while having a tight diet.

Baboumian has constantly had to answer questions about his diet. As he is a vegan, it limits the ways he can intake the proper protein to pack on muscle. Despite this, Baboumian broke down his diet on his personal YouTube channel.

Meal One:

Baboumian starts the day off with his morning dose of various supplements. He has three sets for various parts of the day. The morning dose contains nutritional yeast, magnesium, zinc, and glucosamine.

Following this, Baboumian proceeds to make a protein shake.

It is mixed with water and contains 80g protein, 5g of creatine, and some beta-alanine.

This results in a total of 80g protein with 0 carbs or fat, for his first meal.

Meal Two:

After a training session, Baboumian picks some black currants from his yard.

He then makes a smoothie with those, along with frozen mixed fruit. Additionally, he adds soy or pea isolate protein powder, along with glutamine, and beta-alanine. After that, he adds 5g of creatine, along with dried greens, turmeric, real cinnamon, and around 5-10g of BCAAs.

The smoothie is blended with orange and mango juice, and water. He then downs the entire smoothie. Subsequently, it adds around 80g protein and 100g carbs to his daily intake.

Meal Three:

Baboumian now has his first solid food of the day, for lunch. This meal consisted mostly of leftovers, from a party.

This meal had vegan sausages falafel, low-fat fries, and a ton of grilled peppers.

Lunch contained a total of 60g protein, 250g carbs, and 90g fats.

Meal Four:

After lunch, Baboumian takes a smooth walk, then waits around an hour before making another protein shake.

This shake is made up of water, mixed with 50g protein, and 5g of omega-3 oil.

Obviously, this adds a additional total of 50g protein and 5g fat to the daily total.

Meal Five:

After a few hours, it is time for the next meal. Subsequently, this is the final main meal of the day.

This meal is comprised mostly of mixed veggies, with tofu and potatoes. Baboumian also adds a curry paste to zucchini, for flavor.

This second solid meal is comprised of 40g protein, 100g carbs, and 15g fat.

Meal Six:

Baboumian then has a snack of peanuts. This adds 50g, 20g carbs, and 90g of fat to his diet.

Meal Seven:

Just before bed, he consumes another protein shake. However, this one is small, at just 50g protein, with water.

So, Patrik Baboumian ends the day at a whopping grand total of 410g protein, 470g carbs, and 200g fat. Additionally, he has consumed around 5320Kcal. On the other hand, he also explained that this is a little more than a normal day. It seems that despite dietary restrictions, he is managing to do just fine.
