Agata Sitko is arguably the most complete powerlifter in the world, but her bench press skills are truly mind-blowing. She displayed her prowess again at the 2024 Euro Muscle Show, which took place on July 13-14 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Agata participated in the 84-kilogram weight class, where she managed to set a new 156-kilogram (343.9-pound) Raw Bench Press IPF World Record.
Agata Sitko broke the World Record on her very first bench press attempt of the day, which came out to 150 kilograms (330.7 pounds). So, for her second attempt, Agata chose 156 kilograms (343.9 pounds). Having competed in the raw division, she was only allowed to put on a pair of wrist wraps. However, that was all that Agata needed to crush the bench press and set a new World Record.
Agata Sitko tried to push her record even further on the final attempt, where she decided to bench press 160 kilograms (352.7 pounds). Unfortunately, although she managed to get the bar a few inches above her chest, Agata was unable to push through and fully lock it out. So, her second attempt at 156 kilograms (343.9 pounds) turned out to be the new record.
*Agata Sitko also held the previous 84KG Raw Bench Press IPF World Record of 147.5 kilograms (325.2 pounds), which she set at the 2022 IPF World Junior Classic Powerlifting Championships.
