‘Reacher’ star Alan Ritchson continues to stun fans with his impeccably chiseled physique, a testament to his hard work and dedication. In a recent YouTube video, Ritchson shares what an intense full-body workout looks like for him.

“What I consider an intense workout is when I hit a full-body day as hard as I can.”

Alan Ritchson plays a no-nonsense retired military officer in the TV series ‘Reacher’ but don’t get it twisted, his rock-hard abs aren’t special effects. Instead, Ritchson follows a grueling and intense exercise regimen in his personalized home gym.

Focusing on strength training and conditioning, Alan Ritchson has made it clear to fans that to achieve his level of fitness it takes a lot of hard work and commitment. In a recent YouTube video, Alan Ritchson shows fans exactly what his intense full-body workouts look like to achieve his striking physique.

Ritchson’s Intense Full-Body Workout

  • Lunges
  • Split Squats
  • Leg Extensions
  • Leg Curls
  • Bench Press

Alan Ritchson provides what exercises he uses during his rigorous full-body workout. He makes sure to challenge himself, having laid out a goal of 100 reps on the bench press.

“That’s going to include lunges, split squats, leg extensions, and leg curls. So that’ll be the lower half, on the upper half I’ll hit the chest. My goal is to get to 100 reps of bench” Ritchson says.

“I’ll start on incline and I’ll end on decline trying to do 225, so heavy weights. I’ll walk that all the way down. If I can get through that I think I’ve won. It’s tough to get through a full set though.”

Alan Ritchson’s razor-sharp conditioning requires a balance between his hardcore training and a healthy diet. Previously, Ritchson gave fans a look inside his fridge and while there were some guilty pleasures, like his beloved cookie dough, the ‘Reacher’ star kept it light and simple with eggs, oatmeal, fruit, and low-carb lunches like lunch meat and cheese roll-ups, or what he coined “meat and cheese tacos.”
