Over the weekend Dan Green’s “Boss of Bosses” powerlifting took place and some insane weight was moved! Let’s take this opportunity to look who impressed the most at the meet.
Yury Belkin totals 1,066kg/2,305 lbs
Belkin is a machine. No other way to explain this man’s power while being only 100 kg. He continues to impress each time he steps on a powerlifting platform and casually breaks a few records for the hell of it.
This time he squatted 416kg/917 lbs in wraps for an all-time record in his weight class, deadlifted 415kg/914 lbs and bench pressed 235kg/518 lbs. Keep in mind, all this at the 100 kg/ 220 lbs.

Julius Maddox Bench Presses an all-time world record
Julius Maddox is officially the best bench press of all time. He broke Kirill Sarychev’s previous record from 2015 which was 335kg/738.5. Julius broke that record and it now stands at 335.47kg/739.6lbs.
Yes, the lockout was a bit “iffy” but man that weight moved FAST.
Michael Estrella(145lbs)deadlifts nearly 5 times his body weight
What’s even more impressive than these monsters is a shorter and much lighter athlete deadlifting 4,5x his own bodyweight! His 303kg/668 lbs deadlift is not only impressive, but it’s also an all-time world record!
Kristy Hawkins breaks 3 world records
The boys weren’t the only ones setting records at the Boss of Bosses meet. Kristy Hawkins took the all-time world record in the squat(285kg/628lbs-with wraps), deadlift (255/562lbs) and the total(690kg/1521lbs). This just proves that girls can sure as hell lift as heavy as the fellas.
