Brian Shaw is known for his colossal size, being one of the biggest and most jacked humans that have ever lived. Standing at 6′ 8″ and weighing over 400 pounds, Brian has to eat insane amounts of food to maintain his size. This has not changed with his transition to arm wrestling, as seen by Brian’s recent YouTube video. Specifically, Brian revealed a full day of eating on his new diet ahead of his arm wrestling debut.
Brian Shaw’s first arm wrestling match will be against none other than the 2017 World’s Strongest Man, Eddie Hall. The idea of the matchup popped up during one of their conversations but was made official a few weeks ago. The two behemoths will arm wrestle each other at the King Of The Table 13 event, which is scheduled to take place on December 14th in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

- 2 Scoops of Protein
- 1 Cup of Blueberries
Meal Two — Breakfast
While his morning snack is a great start to the day, it is far from enough to keep Brian Shaw energized for the day that awaits him. So, the 4x WSM makes himself breakfast shortly after the snack, mixing in multiple ingredients for a massive meal. For breakfast, Brian has to choose a source of protein, vegetables, and carbs.
Brian Shaw likes to put on some hot sauce over his eggs and eat them alongside some toasted bread covered by some type of spread. As for the vegetables, Brian eats eight baby carrots while cooking the eggs.
- 6 Eggs
- 6 Egg Whites
- 8 Baby carrots (Eats while cooking)
- 3 Pieces of Sourdough Bread (Toasted) with Raspberry Spread
- Hot Sauce
Meal Three — Lunch
Brian Shaw had to pick up some recovery equipment for his arm wrestling training, but that did not stop him from consuming his third meal. Instead, he went to a restaurant on the way and brought his own scale to weigh up the exact portion of meat that he needed to eat. Alongside the meat, Brian also added some broccoli and two cups of rice.
- 18 oz of Carne asada (grilled and sliced beef)
- Broccoli
- 2 Cups of Rice
Meal Four
Brian Shaw gets to choose what he eats for his fourth meal, but it has to contain one source of protein, a fruit of his choice, and some type of vegetable. Similar to his Strongman days, Brian opted to eat some bison meat but added some grapes and green beans on the side.
- 12 oz of Grass-fed Bison
- 20 Frozen Grapes
- 1 Cup of Green Beans
Meal Five — Dinner
Brian Shaw had to contain himself while waiting for the brisket to cool down since he was “starving” at the time. That shows just how much food a man of his size has to eat just to satisfy the needs that his body has. He once again has to have sources of protein, carbs, and vegetables, making sure to maintain a diverse source of nutrients.
- 16 oz of Brisket (starts preparing it during breakfast to have it ready by dinner)
- Sweet Potato Fries
- Green Beans
- Beef Broth
Meal Six — Snack Before Bed
Brian Shaw wraps up the day similar to how it began, making a shake for himself and eating some frozen blueberries. However, instead of protein, Brian adds two scoops of collagen peptides with the purpose of improving the recovery of his joints, which are under a lot of pressure due to the intense arm wrestling training.
- 2 Scoops of Collagen Peptides
- 1 Cup of Blueberries
“You can see throughout the day a lot of variety. I tried to show you guys on the go, cooking, and I can throw anything in between. I can grab things to go if I have a meeting… We are building up and getting better.
Bodyweight, I feel, is climbing a little bit going into this first arm wrestling super match. I’m not upset about that. I have not stepped on the scale, and I don’t know exactly where I am at. But, I feel like I am putting on a little bit of weight with all the training. Not a bad thing; power is definitely going up,” said Brian Shaw.
