Brianny Terry has already made her second powerlifting appearance of the year, and it came at the 2024 WRPF FQ Classic 4, which took place on May 4-5, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She competed in the raw 90-kilogram weight class, where she managed to produce a record-breaking performance. Brianny did so by locking out a 293-kilogram (646-pound) raw deadlift for a new U90KG All-Time World Record.
Brianny Terry’s first attempt on the deadlift was 267.5 kilograms (589.7 pounds), which was in fact her lightest opening lift in the past two years. So, deciding to start off this low surprised many, but clearly proved to be the right approach. The second attempt was already much heavier, coming out to 280 kilograms (617.3 pounds).
So, with one attempt left and nothing to lose, Brianny Terry decided to load 293 kilograms (646 pounds). She then performed the lift with the use of a sumo stance and a mixed grip. That combination resulted in a successful lift for Brianny, who displayed no signs of struggling at all.
It is also important to note that this is the Heaviest Deadlift in Women’s Powerlifting, regardless of weight class. It is 0.5 kilograms (1.1 pounds) more than the former heaviest, which was set by Samantha Rice at the 2024 WRPF Ghost Clash 3. Samantha’s deadlift also stood as the World Record in the 90-kilogram weight class.

This was Brianny Terry’s 13th sanctioned powerlifting career since 2017, when she first started doing powerlifting. It was also her 8th victory in the sport, as well as her greatest full-raw performance yet. However, Brianny has found success outside of powerlifting as well, as she earned her IFBB Pro card at the 2023 NPC USA Championships. So, she is one of the strongest women in the world and has a great physique to show for it as well.
Brianny Terry’s 293-kilogram (646-pound) Deadlift World Record is quite a confidence booster for her since she attempted the same lift twice just four weeks ago but was unable to lift it. So, now that she has finally reached her goal, Brianny is ready to set new ones and continue making history in powerlifting.
