Cailer Woolam goes by the nickname “Doctor Deadlift,” and for good reason. He recently just set a new personal record with an unbelievable lift.

Woolam announced that he was looking to compete at the upcoming 2019 Sling Shot Record Breakers meet in Dublin, California. When this two day event happens on November 9th, it is expected that he will be looking to bring his best, per usual.

Leading up to the event, Cailer Woolam has been training hard, in order to get ready. One of the ways in which he decided to prepare was with setting a new personal record. In a video, uploaded to his Instagram, Woolam hits an incredible 959lb/435kg deadlift, which he explains is a new lifetime PR. It really is a bewildering sight to see.

Check it out:

435kg/959lbs. 9lb lifetime PR.
With a little left in the tank I believe. This one was worth getting a little excited about.

Big thank you to @drcmerchant for the adjustment earlier today and being there to watch me lift!”

It is pretty hard to determine what the most impressive part about this lift is. It could be just the sheer size of the deadlift, as 959lb is ridiculous. Or perhaps, it could be the fact that Woolam managed to lift something that heavy without even using a belt. Moreover, it could be how he says he got a back adjustment right before doing the lift that is the most amazing.

Honestly, what may be the craziest part, is how Cailer Woolam says he felt like he had more to give. To be able to crush a lifetime personal record, and still feel as if you did not give it your all, that means some unbelievable things are still to come. Subsequently, it will be interesting to see how Woolam performs next month, to see if he extends this record even more.
