Only mere days separate the world’s best bodybuilding competitors from the 2024 Mr. Olympia, slated to take place from October 11-12 in Las Vegas, Nevada. With the major event approaching, Terrick El Guindy and Chris Cormier took to YouTube on October 7, 2024, to discuss Andrew Jacked’s impact on the Open lineup. In addition, they talked about Ryan Terry’s potential, praising him for having the best ab definition in Men’s Physique history.
2024 Mr. Olympia is set to take over Las Vegas, Nevada for the event’s 60th anniversary. With unprecedented stakes and huge cash prizes on the line, athletes aren’t taking chances when it comes to preparations. A total of 11 IFBB Pro League divisions will be on display, headlined by the Men’s Open category.
Within the Open, Andrew Jacked has made waves this season, winning his third title at the 2024 Texas Pro. His first-place finish has sparked debate among bodybuilding veterans, leading many, including Chris Aceto, to believe he has what it takes to win the 2024 Mr. Olympia title.

Also among those competing will be Men’s Physique Olympia Ryan Terry, who is in hot pursuit of his second title. Last year, Terry blew his competitors out of the water, including former Men’s Physique champion Erin Banks, earning him the win on bodybuilding’s biggest stage. This year, with a combination of hardcore training sessions and stringent meal plans, Ryan Terry has been hard at work to improve upon his already impeccable physique before hitting the prestigious event.

With under a week until the 2024 Mr. Olympia is set to take place, Chris Cormier and Terrick El Guindy discussed the impact Andrew Jacked has within the Men’s Open category and how that could all play out in just six short days.
“So this guy, I mean he’s like the unicorn of bodybuilding. No one has that type of height with that mass with those cuts with those abs with that body of his is like nothing short of Hadi’s. It’s got that density, the striations coming up in the chest, improved the back, improved the legs, improved the arms.”
Cormier pointed out that Andrew Jacked was previously doing too many shows, hindering his ability to successfully improve his physique.
“I think one of the reasons why he wasn’t improving is because he was doing show after show, ‘oh there’s another show to do, oh get back into prep, oh another show, get back into prep,’ and that’s not allowing you to get the size.”
Chris Cormier anticipates Jacked being even harder and more impressive after a conversation with his coach Chris Aceto.
“I think he’s going to be even harder. I talked to Chris Aceto before the show and I was like what are we going to see out of Andrew Jacked?
He said he’s going to be the eighth wonder of the world or the eight place wonder of the world. He’s going to be one of the two but it’s going to be something bigger and different, that’s what he was saying.”
As for Ryan Terry, Terrick El Guindy couldn’t help but praise his incredible aesthetics, especially when considering his abs and chest.
“Some of these shorter denser guys, they don’t benefit with the fact that this aesthetically pleasing streamlined guy [Ryan Terry], right, if you put him right next to Jeremy Buendia, Jeremy has more of a density,” said Terrick El Guindy. “He brings the streamlined aesthetically pleasing and again, when you talk about Men’s Physique, the first thing you see is chest and abs.”
Guindy went as far as claiming his abs are the best in Men’s Physique division history.
“The first thing we’re looking at is your chest and your abs, unless your arms are extremely huge, I’m not going to be staring at them. What does he have that’s impressive? He’s got probably the best set of abs in the history of the Men’s Physique category.”
“His abs are so good that I got heterosexual male friends dreaming about him,” adds El Guindy. “Now he’s got the back separation which is something he didn’t have. So he’s pretty complete.”
Within the Men’s Open division, Andrew Jacked faces a stacked lineup of highly dangerous competitors. From the current Mr. Olympia Derek Lunsford to the former 2022 titleholder Hadi Choopan, Andrew Jacked needs to bring in unprecedented muscle definition and conditioning to stand out against these Open knockouts.
Ryan Terry will also be facing fierce competition that includes the former Men’s Physique Olympia Erin Banks, who is already plotting the best way to take Terry out. Additionally, Emanuel Hunter, who placed fourth last year on the prestigious stage, and Diogo Montenegro, who just won at the 2024 Arnold Classic, will both be taking a shot at the title in just six short days.
This weekend the 2024 Mr. Olympia celebrates the event’s 60th anniversary in Las Vegas, Nevada.
