Eddie Hall is easily one of the greatest Strongman figures in the world and, as such, is known for eating mind-blowing amounts of food to maintain his weight. However, he also likes to experiment with food, and his most recent endeavor was taking on the carnivore diet. It is safe to say that it worked wonders for Hall, as seen by the latest physique update that the former World’s Strongest Man shared.
Eddie Hall has managed to stick to the carnivore diet for 90 days, meaning that he only ate meat-related products for three months. In this time period, Eddie lost 8.9 kilograms (19.6 pounds) of bodyweight, from 167.9 kilograms (370.2 pounds) to 159 kilograms (350.5 pounds). Moreover, he decided to do a DEXA scan to find out how much body fat he was carrying. Well, the results showed that Eddie Hall’s body fat is just 19.9%.
While some may doubt that a man of Eddie Hall’s size could be carrying such an impressive body fat percentage, it is clear from his physique update that the results are legit. Hall has visible six-pack abs and defined muscles. Moreover, in comparison to his physique before the carnivore diet, Eddie now seems even bigger, despite losing weight. However, his DEXA scan showed that he also put on 0.5 kilograms (1.1 pounds) of lean muscle while losing fat.

Eddie Hall’s Transformation After 90 Days of Carnivore Diet
Eddie Hall is immensely satisfied with the results that came out of his three-month carnivore diet, as it has completely changed the way he looks and feels. However, he does plan on adding a bit of fruit and vegetables to his diet going forward, as he believes that his body would benefit from it per the statement Hall made in his YouTube video.
“I have been on the carnivore diet for three months. I have eaten nothing but steak, eggs, salmon, bacon, cheese, milk… It has been an amazing diet, and I feel absolutely incredible… I just felt like cr*p and I thought I had to do something about this. So, I started the carnivore diet, and I turned my life around.”
Eddie Hall also pulled up the pictures of him before and compared them to his current shape. He even surprised himself with the results, pointing out a few great improvements that he noticed. Hall’s performances have also improved, as he feels more energetic and stronger than he has been in the past four years.
I was a bit chubby, a little bit saggy in areas, just felt flat, and the performance was really bad. I can see a big difference… The abs are the number one thing you notice, and then look at the size of the shoulders and arms. The legs also look a bit beefier… That is a big, big difference.”
Eddie Hall also met up with his doctor to go over the results of the blood test and other parameters that indicate how the carnivore affected his overall health. Whether it is coincidental or caused by the diet is unknown, but some criteria showed that Hall’s cardiovascular system worsened a bit. His gut health and liver also experienced some consequences. The damage is fully reversible, but Hall needs to add some diversity to his diet in order to achieve it. So, while it had its benefits, the carnivore diet also had its cons in the case of Eddie Hall.
“It served a good purpose, but it is time to start incorporating good things back into the diet: fruits, vegetables, and a little bit of carbs. Get the diversity of the gut up, bring some health, bring some fiber, and bring some nutrition back into the diet.”

Eddie Hall recently revealed that he has no plans of returning to Strongman, but has clearly developed a passion for combat sports. It all started with his boxing match against Hafthor Bjornsson. Despite losing on a unanimous decision from the judges, Hall continued training and recently had an incredible display in a 1 vs 2 MMA match. So, Eddie clearly has a lot of goals for the near future, which is why his carnivore diet transformation could become useful.
