Although their boxing match is still a year away, Eddie Hall is laser-focused on Hafthor Bjornsson. Now a recent training update shows how quick his hands are looking at this point in the training.

The strongman community is buzzing with anticipation for the Bjornsson vs Hall boxing fight, next summer. Both gentlemen have been working hard, and showing some solid results. It is clear to see that, at least so far, that this is something that is being taken seriously.

However if you were not convinced, Eddie Hall decided to provide more proof that his training is going well so far. Although he has already shared some of the boxing training he is doing, he took a minute to update his fans on Instagram about how things are looking. The video features Hall getting to work on the speed bag, and his rhythm looks pretty smooth.

“You got to get speed, demon speed. Speed’s what we need; we need greasy, fast speed.” #Rocky @officialalystallone 🥊

This is some pretty decent hand work from Hall, and a nice nod to Sylvester Stallone’s iconic role of Rocky Balboa. We have already seen that Eddie has been slimming down, but it is good to see his boxing fundamentals coming together. Moreover, he has been doing a ton of work on his cardio, even going as far as doing 30 minutes in the pool, swimming in place.

As the fight draws closer, we will be able to fully see who takes the training serious in the long-term. Regardless there can be no denying that Eddie Hall is putting in the work right now, and he is looking incredibly focused on the task at hand. Obviously he has a long way to go, and a speed bag does not determine skill in the ring, but he seems to doing the right things.
