Fitness influencer Miguel Angel Aguilar lost his life following a violent home robbery. On December 22, 2024, the Self Made Training Facility, which he founded, revealed the tragic news.
Aguilar was a prominent fixture in the fitness sphere, having amassed an impressive 54.5K Instagram followers, sharing insightful information on workouts, dieting, and healthy living. He was also known for his impressive physique, which he achieved with a relentless work ethic, something that his followers were highly motivated by. Four men were reportedly involved in the incident. They approached Aguilar and his wife in their Bel Air residence before shooting him multiple times, including in the face.

He peacefully passed away on December 21, months after the incident, which occurred on September 13, 2024. He was surrounded by loved ones in his final moments.

The Self Made Training Facility plans to continue honoring his legacy and fighting spirit, unwilling to forget the contributions he made to those around him.

The bodybuilding and fitness communities have been plagued with sudden deaths as of late. In addition to Aguilar’s horrific passing, Jaxon Tippet, a prominent 30-year-old influencer, died of a heart attack, leaving those around him in a state of dismay.
