A 52-year-old grandma has stolen headlines after she revealed details surrounding her unorthodox diet. Eating upwards of 150 eggs per month, Andrea Sunshine is confident her diet has a huge impact on her ability to look beautiful and stay fit.
Amounting to five eggs a day, Sunshine is committed to her diet and staying healthy year-round. Working out at gyms in London, Sunshine isn’t your average grandma. Sporting long blonde hair and tattoos with a six-pack of abs, Andrea is the picture of longevity. She admits her time in the gym is often accompanied by younger men hitting on her but isn’t thrilled about the attention as her focus is always on getting the best pump possible.
The half-Dutch, half-Brazilian woman insists that to keep her beautiful appearance, she implements a strict health and fitness routine. In addition, Sunshine maintains that eating a diet filled with vegetables and protein contributed to her out-of-the-ordinary body at 52 years old.

“💪🏼My number one protein with some spicy 🌶 feature lol 😂 So, Courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage you can’t practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage💪🏼” Andrea Sunshine shared.
Her daily caloric intake amounts to roughly 3,500 calories in six to eight meals. Some of her preferred healthy snacks include broccoli, green beans, little corn, eggs whites, cauliflower, yam, cabbage, and spinach. Andrea avoids sweeter vegetables like carrots and pumpkin. She eats sweet potatoes and consumes up to four liters of water daily. However, one of her most important dietary choices is consuming 150 eggs per month.
Working out at the gym three times a day, Sunshine noted that men disrupt her fitness routines often, and says she doesn’t like to entertain the assertiveness of most men. Starting with an hour of cardio, Sunshine tops off her training sessions with weight training. Andrea also pushes back against traditional roles that older women get caught up in, like getting overwhelmed while taking care of a home and family.
“Young men have a crush on good-looking mature ladies so I get hit on all the time,” Sunshine said. “I don’t like the attention. When I am in my session, I hate to be disturbed.”
“There is a stigma that with advancing age of women, they should only dedicate themselves to taking care of the home and family. It’s possible to do both,” Sunshine explained to NY Post.
